Our Kitchen Design Process
We begin by talking through your space, what isn't currently working and what you would like the new kitchen to achieve.
This can start over the phone or in our Hockliffe studio. We also find it useful to discuss approximate budget early so that the design and specification develop in the right direction from the outset.
From layout to specification
The design takes into account storage, appliances, worktop space, seating and circulation before moving into cabinetry styles, finishes and materials.
Your plans and visuals are presented in our studio, where we can review the design together and compare the different options in person.
Quotation, manufacture and installation
Once the design and specification have been developed, we prepare a detailed quotation.
Manufacturing is typically around four to eight weeks, depending on the cabinetry selected. Installation usually takes around two to three weeks for a typical kitchen, although projects involving wider building work may require a longer programme.
