It works particularly well for shaker kitchens, character homes and projects where individual proportions or detailing are important. A wide choice of colours and finishes also allows the kitchen to be developed as part of the wider interior.

Our Kitchen Design Process
Every project starts with understanding your space, how you use it and what you would like to achieve.
We can begin with a conversation over the phone or in our Hockliffe studio, including an early discussion around budget so we can explore the options that work best for your project.
Design and specification
We develop the layout around your room and the way you live, considering cabinetry, storage, appliances, seating, worktop space and circulation.
Your plans and visuals are then presented in our studio, where we can work through the design together and explore materials, finishes and specifications in person.
Quotation, manufacture and installation
Once the design and specification have been developed, we prepare a detailed quotation for your project.
Manufacturing is typically around four to eight weeks, depending on the cabinetry selected. Tamaru can also provide installation, which usually takes around two to three weeks for a typical kitchen. More extensive renovation or building work may require a longer programme.
