Design your dream Lacanche cooker below. Once you're happy, download your configuration and contact us to place an order or ask any questions.
It is a free configurator that lets you design your own Lacanche range cooker step by step: style, width, model, colour, trim, fuel type and hob layout. When you are happy, you download the configuration and send it to us to price or to ask questions. Nothing is committed until you decide. We are based on Watling Street in Hockliffe, near Leighton Buzzard, so once you have a spec we can talk it through properly rather than by email alone.
Lacanche cookers originate from France and are still made there today. The company's history traces back to 1763, when its first blast furnace was created, and each range cooker is still built to order to the same standards, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern simplicity. Every cooker is made after you order it, which is why the configurator exists in the first place.
Classic is the traditional Lacanche look with more decorative detailing and the widest choice of trims. Modern is the contemporary version, available in all the same colours and the same configurations, but with fewer trim options, limited to brushed stainless steel and chrome. The cooking specification is identical between the two. It is purely a question of which suits the kitchen it is going into.
There are seven size options, starting at 70cm wide with the Cormatin and Rully, and running all the way up to the Vezelay at 2205mm, which makes a statement unlike any other range cooker. The most commonly chosen are the 1000mm models. The Cluny offers two large 55-litre ovens with three hob choices and five oven configurations, while the Macon adds a third full oven and grill that takes the same trays and racks as the main ovens, plus a storage drawer.
It depends on model, width and configuration. As a market guide, the 1000mm Cluny starts at around £5,490 for the Modern style and £5,860 for Classic, with the Macon at around £6,230 to £6,330. Larger models rise from around £8,200 for the 1105mm Saulieu and Savigny, up to roughly £13,520 for the 1805mm Bligny. Build your configuration and send it over and we will price your exact spec.
This catches people out when comparing quotes. Your colour and trim choice is included in the price, but the oven and hob configurations vary and change the figure. Delivery is included for orders within UK mainland. Installation, any extraction, and accessories such as splashbacks or utensil racks are priced separately. So two quotes for the "same" cooker can differ purely because one has induction and the other has gas.
Longer than most appliances, because it is built to order in France. Deliveries have been scheduling approximately six months in advance, and even where stock models exist, once they are gone the wait returns to around four months. If your cooker is part of a kitchen project, this is the item to specify first rather than last. We will confirm the current lead time when we price your configuration.
Lacanche range cookers come with a 36 month warranty from the date of delivery. Because these are heavy, made-to-order appliances, keeping the configuration record and the delivery documentation matters, and we hold both on file for cookers supplied through us.
All three. A Cluny can be ordered in natural gas, LPG or all electric, with a choice of Classic 5-burner, Traditional 5-burner or Induction 5-ring hobs. On installation, commissioning must follow the manufacturer's installation manual and current Gas Safe and IEE regulations, so a suitably qualified and Gas Safe registered engineer is required. This is not a plug-in appliance, and the electrical and gas supply should be planned before the cooker arrives, not after.
Yes to both. Configuring a cooker on screen is useful for narrowing down a specification, but colour and scale are difficult to judge from a screen, and these are large pieces that dominate a kitchen. Come to the studio near Leighton Buzzard to see finishes in person, and we supply and install across Bedfordshire and the surrounding counties, coordinating the gas and electrical requirements as part of the job.
